Getting to Howth is easy. By simply jumping on the DART or a Dublin Bus you an easily explore this beautiful seaside fishing village.
Howth, though a peninsula, enjoys close access to an extensive network of roads linking it with other major centres. The R105 links to Dublin City Centre. Nearby the M50 links to the M1, M4, N5, N6, M7, N8, and M9 to the West and South of Ireland:
Transportation
DART
The capital's iconic DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) system is a fast and frequent way of travelling from Dublin City to Howth in 25 minutes. The DART hugs the Irish Sea coast for much of its journey, making for one of the most scenic suburban rail routes in Europe.
Trains run regularly both on and off-peak, are kitted out with free Wi-Fi and provide one of the speediest ways to transport you to Hwoth, not to mention the hidden beaches, seaside villages and harbour restaurants secreted away along Dublin's stunning coastline.

Bus
Hop on the 31, 31, 31b from Dublin City Centre to Howth. For more information have a look at the Dublin Bus website. Its route, timetable and fare information make it easy for visitors to bus around the sights, and a real time information service shows when buses are due to arrive.
