Less than a mile off the coast of Howth is a world away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin City. Its only buildings are a Martello Tower and the little ruined church said to have been founded in the sixth century. It teems with wildlife, during the early summer months the place it is vibrantly alive with the sights and sounds of breeding seabirds. Crucially the island offers gobsmacking views of the Dublin Coastline.
Ireland’s Eye can be reached by boat from the East Pier.
